Definitely one of the better Chinese Carry Out restaurants in the Franklin Park/Bensenville area. The prices are resonable and portions are good. The owners are very nice as well. I highly recommend the pot stickers.

Yuck. The end. Ok, allow me to elaborate. It really was a waste of my money. Kung Pao chicken had no nuts. Nor flavor. Nor spice. General tso chicken was super sweet, kind of chewy, and not spicy at all. Egg rolls were greasy. Egg drop soup was extremely slimy. I felt like I was licking Slimer type of slimy. Eeww. Fried rice was dry and had way too much soy sauce. And I think I've sufficiently justified my initial statement of yuck. The end.

NEVER AGAIN! We ordered food at 5:40 PM for delivery. We were a bit unsettled by the fact that they needed directions to get to our house (who these days does not have access to a GPS, smart phone or a map) which is about 1 mile from the restaurant. We gave directions to the girl on the phone, and she repeated them back to us. We called back at 7 PM and they said the driver was out with the food. Called back at 7:30, and was told the same thing. Called back at 8 PM, and the woman who answered the phone said the driver tried to find the house twice, (HELLO GPS!) and told us to come and pick up the food. After working 10 hours, and waiting over 2 more hours for delivery, the last thing we want to do is pick it up! When asked why the delivery driver did not call, we were told he doesn't speak English. I guess she couldn't call us and translate for the driver..... Very frustrated. BTW, at least we had a frozen pizza to cook. No more chances Leu's. Hire a real driver.......... We should've called Asian Express, we would have ate by 6:30-7 PM.

My favorite Chinese takeout place in the area. Nice people and good food. Best of all, you get a pretty good amount of food for your money.

I've had Leu's a few times and each time it's been disappointing. The quality seems a step below other Chinese restaurants, and there's always too much of something - usually salt. If you're around Franklin Park and want Chinese food, go with China Gate.

I was very disappointed in a meal I recently ordered from Leu's and can only attribute the decline in quality to the new ownership/management. Let's face it--most people have realistic expectations when it comes to Chinese takeout ; it is a quick --usually tasty-- solution to an impromptu dinner, with the main emphasis being on convenience. However, I DO expect that the vegetables in a sub gum dish will be chowed a bit longer than15 seconds and any nuts in the dish will not be rancid. Evidently my sights were set way too high--the sub gum sucked and for the above-stated reasons. When I called Leu's to voice the complaint, the person answering my call was indifferent and shrugged it off. Though I did not expect to get a refund -or a choice of another dish (which BTW was not forthcoming)- I absolutely expected at least an apology for having to pay for a meal that went in the garbage. Save your money and order elsewhere. Leu's used to be a real gem for the money but the new owners/managers have really screwed up the menu.

They deliver to River Grove! Hurray! The prices are dirt cheap, and that lowers my standards a bit. At this price point I am excited that the vegetables are fresh and whole, the sauces tasty and the whole meal has a nice fresh homemade flavor. The sauces aren't too heavy or overpowering or syrupy. Quite good, a great value.

This used to be one of my favorite Chinese places, but the change in ownership has not been positive. The old owner had great quality and taste. Neither seems to be present in the new recipies. I have been told that if you request the "old recipie", you will get it the way it used to be,but I really didn't care for the new style enough to try it again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
